Dear colleagues!
An international Congress dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Otorhinolaryngological service of the Kyrgyz Republic will be held in Bishkek on June 27-29, 2025. The Congress “Current Issues of Otorhinolaryngology”, which will also host the 4th International Congress of the Central and West Asian Association of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (CWASOS), will bring together leading experts from the region and beyond. Holding events of high scientific rank promotes the introduction of advanced ideas in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The purpose of this scientific forum is to exchange and interconnect science and practice in the field of otorhinolaryngology. Today’s science requires close integration and maximum information exchange with all countries. The year 2012 was significant in the life of otorhinolaryngologists of our republic – the Public Association “Scientific Association of Otorhinolaryngologists of the Kyrgyz Republic” was established. This makes it possible not only to hold scientific forums, but also contributes to better training of specialists, such as organizing master classes with the involvement of specialists from other countries. Holding such large scientific and practical forums with the participation of our colleagues from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, India, Turkey, Poland and other countries undoubtedly plays an important role in enriching knowledge and practical skills, especially for young professionals. The creation of the Eurasian Assembly of Otorhinolaryngologists, which included Kyrgyzstan, should be recognized as historic (Moscow, June 19-20, 2014). In 2017, the Ill Congress of the Eurasian Assembly of Otorhinolaryngologists was held in Kyrgyzstan. Another equally significant milestone was the establishment of the Central and West Asian Association of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (CWASOS) in 2019, with Professor Vadim Nasyrov elected as its first chairman. Kyrgyz otorhinolaryngology has every opportunity to stand on a par with countries with high-tech technologies, especially since we have achieved recognition of colleagues on a number of issues, in particular in the fields of ENT oncology, rhinosinusosurgery, etc. I wish all participants of the Congress great creative success, peace, kindness and health.
Chairman of the PA “Scientific Association of Otorhinolaryngologists”, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Nasyrov V.A.
